Founder, Junious Strategies
Zach Miller
Zach Miller founded Junious Strategies to give business owners what is hard to find at the most important transaction of their career: an advisor who has been through it from the inside.
An exit, from the CFO's chair
As CFO of Knight Security Systems, a private equity-backed provider of physical security solutions, Zach led the company through a highly successful exit. That meant preparing the business for buyers, managing the diligence process, and seeing the transaction through to close.
It is a different view of a sale than an intermediary gets. Zach has been the person answering the buyer's questions, defending the numbers, and living with the outcome.
Six acquisitions on the buy side
Zach has also led the integration of more than six acquisitions totaling $100M of enterprise value, with an average purchase price of $30M. That work covered the post-acquisition integration of accounting and operational reporting, which is where many deals either deliver what was promised or quietly don't.
Having been on both sides of the table is what lets Junious hold constructive conversations with owners, whether you are the one selling or the one buying.
Relationships with buyers
Across a career inside private equity-backed companies in the construction and technology industries, Zach has built and sustained relationships with more than twelve key buyer companies. Those relationships exist because of transactions completed, not cold outreach, and they are part of what every Junious client has access to.
Why Junious
Owners deserve representation whose experience matches the stakes. Junious Strategies exists to bring an operator's judgment to selling, acquiring and preparing a business, and to keep the owner's goals at the center of every decision.
